Update !

Sorry guys about the lack of updates, have been really busy with racing, and plus we are trying to settle in our newest addition to the racing pack. "Buster" a 12 month old, hypo puppy that doesnt understand that us race dogs like to relax in the days coming up to races and that we are to mature to play..
ohwell hope it sticks in his head soon enough !! =)

Will upload photos and a breif description about him over the next few days =)

The other day when I won my race I didn't just bring home a ribbon and a cheque..... =)
I also brought home Lucy.
Lucy is a little black and white bitch by Winsome Man x Gunnadoo Lass. Her Litter Brother is "Man Oh Man" .

Well, as you all know on monday I had my first start at Plamerston North and my first start out of the 8 box...
It didnt really go to well for me and I ended up in 6th place overall...

It doesnt really bother me though because i'm racing again very soon.

From box 3 (white rug) so i should do alot better in the next race :)

Wednesday 11th May Win

Something changed in my routine again on wednesday morning, and after my walk and breakfast I found myself once again loaded up into the back of the car, me being me just went to sleep LOL. I woke up when the boot was opened. Mum put on my Collar and Lead and my racing muzzle and lifted me out the car. We walked over to the big grass area known as "the emptying spot" and I emptied my bladder. Then it was time for kenneling. Mum took me into kenneling where I 1. got my ear brands checked 2. got weighed and 3. had a quick vet check before being placed into kennels.

After about 45minutes mum came back and got me out of my kennel, took me to get my race rug (number 2 today) and then outside for an empty and to get my ear brands checked again. Mum put my race rug on, and then started to warm up my muscles. "Stir up dogs please" was called and I dragged mum out to the stir up area.


After the stir up we headed out onto the track, when we got to the boxes I was rubbed down some more and then stood closest to the rail in the back line. We then moved in behind the boxes, our collars/harnesses were removed and we were placed into the boxes.

The traps lifted up and I was out like a shot, getting into first place on the first corner and maintaining first place throughout the entire race, over the finish line and ........... I WIN !!!!

Wednesday 11th May

Hey guys, I will be racing again on Wednesday 11th of may, this time I will be jumping out of the 2 box (and wearing the black and white striped rug). I think I will like this alot better as I dont have to work very hard to get to the rails LOL :)..

Will post an update and let you know how I get on ... 

My First Race

Well I had my first race today... my gosh it was exciting... Even though I only got 5th today and I wasnt 100% sure what to do, I do think im going to get the hang of the whole "racing thing"...  my trainers were very proud of me and I was proud of myself too..
Its now time to relax and chill out ready for another race next week so keep a look out :-)

Wednesday 4th May LOOK OUT !

Look out for me on wednesday the 4th of may at hatrick raceway track ! I'm in the first race at 12.05pm and I will be wearing the black rug (7). This is my first start so is very exciting and I CANT wait !!!

My Most Recent Trial and At Work With Mum

Hey guys, sorry its been a while, have been very busy doing.. you know... "dog stuff" LOL
well I trialed again the other day and i am proud to say, I ran a faster time then the first time i ran.. I ran 305m in 17.9 seconds ! woohoo !

Also the neighbours have been complaining about my constant chitter chatter so I have ended up at work with mum for a week YAY! I have been told that if i dont stop talking to myself for all hours of day and night I will be re-united with my old enemy.. the barking muzzle :-( I hope it doesnt come to this and that I learn to keep my mouth shut when I am told.

OMG, what a supprise that was. My trainers came home, let us out of our kennels to toilet and then I ended up in the back of the car, which is completly out of routine. So anyway... the other dogs were loaded back into their kennels and fed their dinner. My trainers and I hit the road, I had no idea where we were going so this was very exciting. I eventually went to sleep in the back of the car and when I woke up again, I recognised exactly where I was. So I was let out to be "emptied" and I was then placed back into the car for a rest. After a few hours my trainer came and collected me from the car, put my wire racing muzzle on and lead me (well i was leading actually haha) to the racetrack. We walked around to the starting boxes, and walked into the boxing area, my trainer was given the "all clear" and my collar was removed and before I knew it i was in box 4 and waiting for the traps to open ! The lids lifted up and I shot out like a flash, trying my hardest to catch up to that lure (I almost caught it at one point at the first corner). As I past the winning post I got closer and closer to the lure and then....... "got it" =) . My trainer let me play with the lure for a little bit, but then the lure and I had to go our seperate ways so the other dogs could trial too. I ran 305m in 18.21seconds I was very proud of myself and it made my trainer very happy. Then it was back to the car for a drink and the long ride home.

Hey guys, my name is Request Funding, but you can call me Tino. I am a 2 year old 33kg male dog and I am currently awaiting my first race, I cant wait to get my career up and running. I am a big black dog by Elite State out of Ella Lee. I have 7 litter mates (they have all already started their careers). My litter mates are My Bad Jonny,Still No Wives,Stately Babe,Sedgebrook Lee, Sedgebrook Elite, Rhoda Holmes and Karla Lewinsky.
